Music Icon Bret Michaels Is Proud To Be Guest Of Honor At Luke Airforce Base Special Celebration

Luke Air Force Base in Glendale Arizona is honored to welcome music and entertainment icon Bret Michaels On Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Michaels will be kicking off a very special celebration while recognizing our military heroes/veterans, their families, frontline, first responders, essential workers, and teachers.

An ardent supporter of our nation’s military and a son of a veteran, Michaels always makes it a point during his live shows to bring veterans onstage to honor them in arenas and stadiums across the country. Bret has even traveled to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Abu Dhabi to visit with and perform for the troops, In addition, Michaels has and continues to raise and donate hundreds of thousands of dollars for military charities/hospitals through his Life Rocks Foundation.

Also an Arizona resident, Michaels built a unique and innovative hospitality suite for the patients and their families of St. Joseph @ Barrows where Bret who is also a lifelong type 1 diabetic, was treated after suffering a life-threatening brain hemorrhage and spent several weeks in ICU. Due to the incredible medical staff and by the grace of God he is here to talk about it.
